Are you a busy bee this week? What do you have planned? Taking any and all ideas for a fun, relaxing staycation – I might need one soon!. On July 13-14, the San Diego Pride Festival is the time to be. For 2019, it will be taking place on Saturday, July 13, and will kick off from the Hillcrest Pride Flag at University Ave. More than 250,000 attendees gather to watch the parade, which features colorful floats. This week is no different for me – I have three sessions and a wedding to second shoot with plus a mentor session with tomorrow! I’m loving being busy but also ready to deep dive into building a solid foundation for my business. It attracts over 250,000 people cheering on colorful floats and parade participants, who are celebrating and honoring the LGBTQ community. The multi-day event in July boasts a full schedule of events including the Spirit of Stonewall Rally, She Fest, Pride 5k Run, Pride of Hillcrest Block Party, a fabulous mile-long parade through Hillcrest, and a raucous two-day festival in Balboa Park. We also had the annual OTL this weekend paired with vacationing visitors and it was a freaking PACKED weekend. I saw a ton of my friends out celebrating which gave me lots of FOMO since I worked all weekend. I hope my San Diego friends are recovering from their action packed weekends this Monday morning! This weekend San Diego celebrated #pride? and we had record temps.
